A Safe, Secure Place to Connect

The Forum is a place for women to connect with other women. On it, you can find a travel partner, meet women locally, share advice and tips about places you love, and ultimately help each other travel safely and well. We hope you enjoy it and welcome your feedback and suggestions.

We want this site to be a safe place to share and connect with women, so. we have created a three-step Identity verification process. This includes a phone call from us, email and a credit card transaction.  Please be patient as we are a small team and it may take us a day or two to call you. Thank you!

On the registration form, please provide your phone number so that we can call you to verify your identity. You will be able to remove your phone number from your profile once you have been accepted into the Forum.  Please add the email you’ll be using and create a unique password. In your password, please include a capital letter, unique symbols and numbers in your password. Having a secure password is very important. If you need a password generator try Norton.

The Forum is free to join, However, there is a one-time initiation fee of $5.99.

We are only able to use one currency with this system so we have adopted USD which is the global standard. However, we know that many of our subscribers are in Canada. If you’re in Canada use this code – WISDOM21 – to receive Canadian pricing at par. Your address will be confirmed at checkout. Credit card transactions are handled through a third-party provider called Stripe. We do not keep your credit card information on our site.

Please read and agree to our Privacy Rules, our Terms of Use, and the Forum Rules, which are on this page.  You will also receive an email with links to these documents when your registration is complete.  If you have questions about our website please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page.

JourneyWoman Circle Community Forum Rules

This community has been almost 30 years in the making. Give and take. Mentor and help others. Invite your friends. Be silly. Have fun! It requires your participation, so if we want a vibrant group everyone needs to post on a regular basis and actively engage in discussions.

This group is a chance for everyone to mentor, teach and learn from each other. It’s also an opportunity to broaden our perspectives and participate in discussions with an open mindset. You are solely responsible for the content you share. We ask that you please don’t talk politics. Posts that spread misinformation will be deleted. Political commentary, spam and irrelevant links will not be supported or encouraged.

We want women to share their tips and advice on women-friendly tour operators, retreats, guides, accommodations and products. However, we would like this to be an advertising-free zone. If you would like to advertise your home for rent to other women, please do not do it here. We will have a safe place for that soon. If you own a travel or tourism business, please do not promote it here.  We do have many ways to advertise your business on our site; the Forum is not the place for it. Posts that advertise will be removed.

From time to time, the Admins may pose questions to inform or inspire relevant editorial for, like tips. If we use your response, we will say so on the post or contact you for permission.

Travel With Partner Section / MeetUp with Women Section

A key aspect of the new JourneyWoman Community Forum is to help members connect with like-minded travel partners. Please use common sense when interacting with each other, particularly in the Travel With Partner section.

Please exercise pragmatic caution when interacting with other members on the Site or outside the Site having made initial contact through JourneyWoman. We recommend you NOT publicly share your home address, phone number or any location-specific details aside from city and country when connecting with women. Before meeting in person with any other member and/or making any travel plans, you should first make voice or video contact. You should try to meet face-to-face in a public venue before finalizing any travel arrangements.

If you choose to meet or travel with other women, it is up to you to verify their vaccination status. We do not take any responsibility for this unless we are organizing a special JourneyWoman event, in which case vaccination will be required of all participants.

If you have any complaints about the conduct of other JourneyWoman members or evident misrepresentations they have made to you that you feel affect your personal safety or potentially the safety of other members, please send an email or screenshot immediately to We will investigate the matter and take appropriate action.

Thank you for joining and feel free to contact me at any time with ideas and suggestions to improve this Forum.  This is all for you!
